This month's Spanish wine adventure features Rioja and Ribera del Duero, two of Spain's most prized appellations. The predominant red grape is tempranillo but it expresses itself differently in the two regions. There are no white wines to speak of in Ribera, however, Rioja does offer some serious white wines to consider. Your holiday cellar should not go without Rioja and Ribera del Duero.
